The first floor is a one bedroom, one bathroom, self-contained unit. The first thing you will notice upon entering will be the amount of natural light allowed in through the large windows that overlook the lake. As mentioned, the first floor is completely self-contained. Going up to the second floor, you will find four bedrooms and 2.5, including the ensuite master. Each of these rooms offers enough space for at least two beds and full walk-in closets.
Aside from sleeping quarters, the living room, kitchen, and dining areas all flow into one another. The living room features a large, natural stone, propane-burning fireplace. The dining area fits an 8-person table, and the kitchen island has seating for around 8 people. Basically, if you have a large family that loves to eat, this is the place to be!
For the chef in the family, all appliances are stainless steel, there is a convenient pot filler above the stove and plenty of room to store your groceries in the butler’s pantry. If the pantry doesn’t offer enough storage, you will find that there is plenty of cabinets and drawer space. Obviously, there is plenty of room for all of your friends and family to sleep comfortably. However, when there is the potential for that many people, parking can become an issue. Not the case with this lakefront home!
To keep your cars covered, there is a 2-car carport available. Additionally, there is room on the driveway for several other vehicles depending on size. Your in-laws can also park their RV and have access to water and electricity via the hookups on the property.
As far as watercraft goes, there is a dock that offers two electric boat slips so you don’t have to cut into your fishing time and off to the side is a floating dock for two jet skis. Of course, 3-Mile Lake isn’t just for the boaters and fishermen: you will be delighted to find a waterslide with a pump that lands kids (and adults) safely in the lake. Should your neighbors want to visit, this area can serve as extra docking, too!
